These interesting little things are specifically designed for setting up tents on wooden platforms!

They are great for certain sections of through hikes where you end up sleeping in designated areas, or any well developed campsites that you may end up staying at while using a non-freestanding or semi-freestanding tent, or even just a freestanding tent in a windy area!

These differ from the other ones sold on this website in that they don't have springs on them to hold them in place. This can be annoying at times, but if you know what you're doing and set them up well they are still just as stable, all while weighing HALF as much! 

If you know you're going to camp somewhere with platforms, do yourself a favor and pick up a few of these - they're cheap, light, and will save you a ton of headaches. 

 Pro Tip: These are EASILY lost because they are so tiny - pick up a few extras just in case!
